Figure Eight Wetsuits
Growing up on a staple diet of old surf and skate vids, we would listen to punk bands and thrash around the streets practising figure eight cutbacks, and then try and emulate them in the water.
Keeping it raw to the core and paying homage to our old-school roots, we still have the foresight for innovation and progress. We’re a little wild, edgy and not afraid to go against the grain, but we still maintain a smooth, professional stance: a position that sees us stand together with all those who want to cut through the crap, keep it real and chase adventure.
The construction of the Figureight icon is based on a skewed grid, evoking the feeling of speed and motion.
The circle formation represents the continuous flow of the ocean while the sharp, intersecting lines emulate the Figureight cutback movement. The brandname should almost always be written as one word.
This is a secondary logo – treated as a badge-like stamp. It will only be used in some circumstances as a substitute for the main logotype. It is constructed using the same grid proportions and angles.
